Stephanie Marchell Rollison-Brown, 52, Sandusky, was called home to be with the Lord on October 29, 2010, after battling a lengthy illness.
She was born on October 19, 1958 in Mansfield, Ohio, to Richard and Emma (Amos) Rollison. She attended Sandusky City Schools. She was a member of Mt. Zion COGIC. Stephanie was a wonderful homemaker and a mother of two loving sons. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and close family and friends. She gained great pleasure from always being able to extend a helping hand to those in need.
Stephanie is survived by her sons, Torrez Rollison and Dontravion Brown, both of Sandusky; stepson, Cash Brown, Sandusky; long-time companion, Edward Pool, Sandusky; four grandchildren, Trevez, Tremaj, Treasure, and Britoriah Rollison, all of Sandusky; sisters and brothers, Jackie Rollison-Roane, Richard (Evie) Rollison, Jr., Cynthia Rollison, Carol Rollison, Mitchell Lindsey, Preston Lindsey, and Lillie (Kevin) Williams; life-long best friend, Donnovan Johnson; special mother, Evelyn Thomas; godchild, Shatice White; friends, Renee Grant and Darlene Hunter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Brown; her father, Richard Rollison; and a granddaughter, Nyasja Murria.
Friends may call on Friday, November 5, 2010 from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Superintendent Ross Johnson will officiate.
