Troy Missler

Troy Missler, 52, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2021 while visiting Florida. He is now in a beautiful place and with his loved ones that went before him.

Troy was born in Bellevue on May 15, 1969 to Robert and Darla (Frank) Missler. After graduating from Bellevue High School in 1987, he married Tanya Newsom. Together they had one beautiful daughter, Michaela. He went to Terra State and earned a degree in plastic processing and color matching. He relocated to Tennessee and then to Georgia, working as a tech salesman, market sales, tech account manager, and quality specialist for several different major companies, including Valspar Powder Coatings, Principle Coatings, Liochem, and Safety-Kleen.

Troy loved football, especially the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed NASCAR, traveling, and listening to Kid Rock music, attending several concerts. He was a lover of animals and the elderly - he had a heart of gold. Troy lived, loved, laughed, and cried, but most of all he was a wonderful son.

Troy is survived by his daughter, Michaela (Brad) Horn, of Missouri; mother and step-father, Darla and Ron Greene; brother, Bob (Kendra) Missler; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; besties, Shawn Drennen, who was there for him endlessly, Rick Laub, who was there for him when he needed someone the most, and Jerry Risner, his lifelong buddy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Missler, Sr.; younger brother, Casey Missler; grandparents, Marge and Bert Frank and Charles and Roberta Missler; uncle, Doyle Missler; and special step-father, Ken Rohlf.

A celebration of life will take place at Victory Temple Church, 1619 W. Strub Rd., Sandusky, at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Friends may call for an hour prior, from 2-3 P.M. Pastor Luke Walters will officiate.
