Mike was born on September 15, 1980 in Mansfield, OH.

Mike graduated from Fostoria High School in 1999, where he was a member of the undefeated "Iron 14" freshman football team and the 1996 Fostoria Redman State Football Championship team. He was an active member and volunteer for Edison Memorial UMC. Mike was an avid supporter of Edison Schools, most notably as the JV Baseball Coach and volunteer for the athletic department. He often served as a volunteer coach for his children and other local youth with Edison Youth Sports, North Coast Showtime and the Norwalk Rec. Mike worked for many years as a Sports Director at the area YMCA's. He was also a past member of the Bay Area Official's Association. Mike loved sports and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Cavs and Indians, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His greatest joy, though, was his family, the Seel Team.

Mike is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart, Jennifer (Blose) Seel, whom he married on July 30, 2005. He is also survived by his three children, Wesley, Jason and Jessica; father, Bernard Seel of FL; sisters, Charlotte Seel and Elizabeth (Nick) Zych both of GA; his huge in-law family who loved him as one of their own; dog, Gracie Louise and cat, Sir C.C.

In addition to his mother, Jean (Parmenter) Seel, Mike is preceded in death by grandparents, Floyd R. "Pete" and Charlotte (Stump) Parmenter and his two animal children, Nellie Lynne and Maggie Marie.
