Glenn A. "Buzz" Brennan, Sr.

Glenn A. "Buzz" Brennan, Sr., 88, of Sandusky, passed away with his family by his side in his home on Saturday, May 21, 2022.

He was born on May 13, 1924 in Sandusky to the late Harold and the late Grace (Johansson) Brennan.

He attended Sandusky High School and worked 18 years for Brown Industrial (1952-1968) then 31 ½ years for GM as a millwright (1968-1998).

Glenn was an avid muzzle loader competitor and Camp Perry and throughout Ohio. He was a member of the NRA, OGCA, Erie County Conservation League, and Sandusky Eagles. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Doris Jean (Nott) Brennan; sons, Glenn (Marty) A. Brennan, Jr., Thomas (Julia) H. Brennan, Jon (Laurie) A. Brennan, Sr., and Scott (Carole) E. Brennan; 16 grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Chris, Michael, Maddie, Derek, Amanda, Jon, Jr., Heather, Hannah, Tom, II, Jovianna, Jordan, Kristin, and Justin; goddaughter, Lisa; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Russel (Barbara) Brennan and Sharon (Ted) Sturzinger; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold "Pat" Brennan, Jr.

Friends and family may call on Wednesday, May 25 from 11 A.M. until funeral services begin at 1 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Ryan Brown will officiate, and burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
