Daniel Lepley

Daniel Lepley, 60, of Bellevue passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 30, 2022, in Tiffin.

He was born May 28, 1962, in Bellevue, the son of James D. and Nancy (Davis) Lepley.

Dan was a 1980 graduate of Bellevue where he participated and excelled in sports. After graduation, he worked at his family's farm before purchasing and operating a fuel distribution line for Marathon Oil. More recently he worked in transportation for Beck's Suppliers.

He was a hard-working, family first guy, and enjoyed nothing more than supporting his children in their endeavors. He later earned the name "Papa" from his grandchildren and loved to spend time with them. In his spare time, Dan enjoyed golfing and riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and Eagles Aerie 490.

Dan married his wife, Kimberly (Hartley) on June 30, 1984; She survives along with their three children: Karen (Mike) Bores of Bellevue, Kasey (Jarrid) Breyman of Bellevue, and Dusty Lepley of Bellevue; 6 grandchildren: Keagan, Kamden, Kensley, Karter, Kohen, and Faith; brothers, David (Judy) Lepley, James (Elita) Lepley, and Jeffrey (Bev) Lepley; sisters, Cindy Felske and Karen Irons; sister-in-law, Tammy (Michael) Myers; brother-in-law, Daniel Hartley; and numerous aunts and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Dan is preceded in death by his brother, Craig Lepley and infant sister, Cheryl Marie Lepley.

Friends will be received on Monday, December 5, 2022, from 2-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be recited at 1:45 p.m. The funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception School Endowment, 231 East Center Street, Bellevue.
