Robert "Bob" Lee Phillips

Robert "Bob" Lee Phillips, 74, residing in Wakeman, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023, at Louis Stokes VA Hospital in Cleveland.

Bob was born on November 12, 1948, in Elyria, OH to the late Robert Willis Phillips and Jacqueline (Lee) Phillips.

Bob proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. He was a skilled baseball player and starred in the All-Military Baseball League. Bob was an electrician and retired from Tenneco Automotive after 25 years. He was a member of the Norwalk VFW. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and watching wildlife. Bob was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and liked to watch the Little League World Series. His greatest joy of all was family, especially his grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his children, Victoria (Jason) Wilson of Norwalk, and Brandon (Lacey) Phillips of Wakeman; grandchildren, Nathan, Carly, and Paisley; brother, Kenneth (Blanche) Phillips of Pennsylvania, and sister, Sheila (Christopher) Draudt of North Ridgeville.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Phillips, and sister, Linda Craig.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 11 am. Pastor Wally Gilbert will be presiding.
