Nancy A. (Sheeler) Davlin, 75, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday evening, February 12, 2023 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Nancy was born on July 3, 1947 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late John and Mildred (Dockwiler) Sheeler.

Nancy graduated from Sandusky High School and was a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She retired from the Sandusky School District in 2001 after 17 years of service as the 8th grade English teacher. Nancy was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Sandusky, the Erie County Agricultural Society, Erie County 4-H where she was the club advisor, and she served on the Erie County Fair Board. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed quilting, painting, gardening, crafts, baking and cooking. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Eugene Davlin; two daughters, Amanda (James) Zoellner and Linnette (William) Croft, both of Sandusky; one son, Joe (Terri) Davlin of South Charleston, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Private family services will take place. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, Ohio. Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
