Kathyrene Meyers, age 79, of Sandusky, died Thursday morning, March 29, 2012, in Stein Hospice, Sandusky, following a brief illness.
She was born February 28, 1933, in Sandusky, and attended Sandusky High School. She was a housekeeper at Erie County Care Facility. Kathryene was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Sandusky, TOPS (Take off pounds sensibly) being an active member, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Leroy Meyers; one daughter Jeanne (Ted) Driscoll; one son Ed (Dawn) Meyers; two grandsons Tyler and Josh Meyers; 3 sisters Dorothy Musgrove, Ginny Fox, and Ruth Sullivan; and 7 brothers Frank (Ruth) , Rick, Dave, Paul (Karen) , Roger (Fran), James (Becky), and Daniel Fox.
Kathyrene was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Arietta (DeNower) Fox; one sister Nancy; and 2 brothers John and Terry Fox.
Friends may call from 9:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 31, 2011, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington Street, Castalia. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
