Faye E. (Ewers) Mickle

Faye E. (Ewers) Mickle, 73, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Edgewood Manor, Port Clinton, after a lengthy illness. Her husband, David, passed away just 8 days earlier, and she leaves this world to join him.

She was born on February 4, 1950 in Sandusky to Virgil and Mary (Casey) Ewers, Sr.

Faye received dual Associates Degrees in accounting and computer science from Lorain Business College. She went on to start her own business, Joffa Services. She was also a caregiver prior to retirement, as she loved helping people. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing games on the computer and spending time with family.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Annette (Mark) Williams, of Sandusky; son, Gary Robbins, of Sandusky; grandchildren, Chrystal (Justin) Liskai, Lauren Williams, Clarissa (John) McInturf, Maxwell Canino, Christian Ewers, Brandon Caldwell, and Noah Robbins; great-grandchildren, Grayson and Hudson Liskai, and Caydden Caldwell; sisters, Joan Snezek, Rita (Alan) Bartholomew, Marilyn (Bill) Stevens, Janie King, and Carol Kaiser; step-children, Christine Richardson, Penny Cullins, David Mickle, II, and Dawn Nguyen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, David, on March 10, 2023; sister, Mary Dunn; and brother, Virgil Ewers, Jr.

Friends may call on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Harvey Studer presiding. Entombment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky
