Laura Ann (Waddington) Idrissi‑Mojib, 58, of Sandusky, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on July 2, 1964 in Sandusky to Donald and Mary (Garlock) Waddington Walker.
Laura graduated from Sandusky High School, Class of 1982. She worked as a Healthcare Revenue Manager most of her career and spent the last five years working at Firelands Regional Medical Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed her pool days in the sun, trips to Bradenton, Florida, making sure the flowers in her yard looked just right, and being with her family. She made a mean pot roast and was always looking for the next best garage sale bargain; she was even coined the "garage sale queen". Laura was best known for being loving, honest, hard-working, and most of all, for having the best sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh and had the best laugh herself.
Laura is survived by her husband, Badredine, whom she married on August 23, 1986; daughter, Amal M. Idrissi‑Mojib, of Castalia; son, Anwar M. Idrissi-Mojib, of Sandusky; brothers, David (Ann) Waddington and Donald "Ponch" (Sherrie) Waddington; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her step‑father, Robert Walker; and brothers, Charles and Michael Waddington.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 2 from 4‑7 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3 at 11 A.M. at Faith Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd., Sandusky, with Rev. Ken Hiser presiding. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
