Paul J. Lindenberger

Paul J. Lindenberger, 75, passed away early Tuesday morning at his home.

He was born July 20, 1947, in Norwalk, the son of John and Leona Lindenberger, who preceded him in death.

Paul was a 1967 graduate of Monroeville High School and served in the Coast Guard Reserves. Paul worked at Morrow Grocery Store and then went on to own Quality Foods and then Blue Ribbon Catering/Chef's Market in Norwalk.

He enjoyed his woodworking shop where he created beautiful bowls, cutting boards, etc. Paul could duplicate and repair anything made of wood.

Paul is survived by his wife, Karen J. (Bauer, Long) Lindenberger whom he married August 25, 2010; 1 daughter, Michelle (Patrick) Riley of Norwalk; 2 sons, Daniel (Lora) and Brian (Beth) Lindenberger of Monroeville; 9 grandchildren, Dannielle, David, Dawn, Kara, J.J., Connor, Cole, and Ryker Lindenberger, and Corrinne Riley; 3 brothers, Ralph (Marlene) of Kentucky, Jim (Susie) of Monroeville, and Donald (Sandra) of Greenwich; 4 sisters, Sister Betty Lindenberger of Tiffin, Sister Karen Lindenberger of Canton, Ann (Don) Peebles of Wadsworth, and Karen (Dennis) Smith of Wyoming, and sister-in-law, Susan Lindenberger of Norwalk.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his grandson, Calvin Riley, and brother, Dennis Lindenberger.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, at 11 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 1322 Settlement Road, Norwalk, OH 44857.
