Mary Anne Knoll

Mary Anne Knoll, 89, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023, at Twilight Gardens Nursing Home.

She was born on September 1, 1933, in Norwalk, to the late Joseph and Dominica Agatina (Casablanca) LaConte. Mary Anne was a 1951 graduate of St. Paul Catholic High School.

As a former bookkeeper at Bell Dairy, Mary Anne met her late husband, Donald. They enjoyed many wonderful years together, including 20 years in Florida, where she loved to fish. She raised her family and enjoyed decorating wedding cakes, playing cards, BINGO, reading, prayer books, crocheting, and knitting. She loved her family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Toni Anne (David) Griffith of Norwalk, Robert A. (Sheila) Knoll of Gainesville, GA, and Tracy (Richard) Stang of Norwalk; son in-law, Charles Blystone of Norwalk; sister, Jo Haar; grandchildren, Ollie, Matt, Heather Anne, Alex, Katie, Zach, Heather, Adam, Andrew, Holly, Stephanie, Angela and Angelo; great grandchildren, Jaedon, Anthony, Maddox, Giovani, Michael, Theo, Colin, Aiden, Jordan, Avery, and Asher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Knoll in 2009, daughter, Virginia "Ginni", and siblings, Gennie, Carl, Helen, and Jim.

Friends and family are invited to her visitation on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. from 2-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main St., Norwalk, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
