Troy Levon Aaron Jr.

Troy Levon Aaron Jr, affectionately known as TJ, was born on June 29, 1996, in Sandusky, Ohio to Troy Sr. and Lisa (nee Hood) Aaron.

TJ was baptized at Providence Missionary Baptist Church in Sandusky, Ohio where he worshipped and served as a talented drummer. TJ transitioned to be with the Lord on May 21, 2023, at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.

TJ was a 2014 graduate of Perkins High School where he excelled at his love for drums and was a member of the high school marching band. After graduation, TJ went on to attend Akron University where he studied nursing with aspirations to become an anesthesiologist. In addition to his passion for drumming, TJ was a remarkable swimmer and loved playing basketball and traveling with his family. TJ enjoyed home cooked meals and especially loved soul food and Italian cuisine. TJ was a modest foodie (and made sure you did not forget the bread!). TJ enjoyed cooking his own special dishes, watching movies, listening to, and creating his own music, and remained a lover of reading thought-provoking books. TJ got the travel bug early in life and was always ready to vacation on cruises or travel south to visit family. All of TJ's family adored him and he easily charmed anyone he met with his magnetic personality.

Treasuring TJ's memory are his parents; grandparents, Gladys (Jermal) Hood-Robinson of Bedford Hts., OH, Danny Sr. and Brunell Aaron, and Lorenzo Jr. (Sandra) Hood, all of Sandusky, OH; "Auntie" Lori (Marvin) Reed of Twinsburg, OH; uncles Danny Jr. (Dr. Shanita) Aaron of Royersford, PA, and Damon Aaron of Toledo, OH; immediate cousins, Jasmine (Chris) Pope, Morgan Aaron, Dashun Ferrell, D'Hani Aaron, and Demi Aaron. TJ is survived by great-aunts, great-uncles, and an abundant number of cousins and friends who will also cherish his time here on earth.

TJ was preceded in death by his younger brother, Daniel Aaron, with whom he will now have the chance to be an amazing big brother, great-grandparents, cousins, and other family members and friends.

Family and friends may call from 10am to noon on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce Street, Sandusky, OH. Funeral services will begin at 12pm at the church. Minister Jasmine L. Pope will officiate, and Dr. Scottie L. Aaron will eulogize. Per TJ's request, his body will be cremated. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH, is overseeing arrangements. In lieu of flowers, tribute gifts may be made in memory of Troy Levon Aaron, Jr. to FrontLine Service ( Donate to Our Nonprofit Organization - FrontLine Service).
