Herman Stoner Jr.

Herman Stoner Jr., 76, of Bellevue passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, May 28, 2023 at The Bellevue Care Center. He was born October 31, 1946 in Old Fort the son of Herman Sr. and Mary (Yeager) Stoner.

Herman was a cnc machinist and tool & die operator. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and traveling; especially trips to Las Vegas to visit the casinos. He had a contagious smile, which was brought about many times by his grandchildren, whom he adored.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Janice (Rado), whom he married July 10, 1982 in Rising Sun, Ohio; son, Slade Stoner of Bellevue; daughter, Shannon House of Bellevue; grandchildren: Lucas Stoner of Findlay, Averee Reichley and Grayson House of Bellevue; brother, Richard (Janet) Stoner of Napoleon; sisters, Carol Farris of Bellevue and Betty Rusch of Fremont; sisters-in-law, Laurie Rado of Bellevue and Debbie Rado of New Mexico; and numerous nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother-in-law's: Thomas Rado, Gary Rado, Mel Rusch, and Dennis Farris; and Father and Mother-in-law: George and Dolly Rado.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of the Bellevue Care Center as well as ProMedica Memorial Hospice for their excellent care.
