Danny was a longtime member of the church Life Group and men's prayer group, and was a member of the UAW913 and gun club, "Fur, Fish and Feather." He was an avid sports fan, always rooting for Ohio State and the Cleveland Guardians, plus he enjoyed playing baseball and softball, well into his 70s. As a child, Danny began his love for Oldsmobiles, as well as airplanes and flying, even having the opportunity to work at Griffing Airport. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and felt his most significant accomplishment in life was building the house he raised his family in.
