Craig Allan Hill

Craig Allan Hill, 67, of Clyde, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at the Bellevue Hospital.

Craig was born in Tiffin on April 7, 1956 to Jeri (Mesnard) and John Hill, formerly of Clyde, now of Port Clinton, Ohio.

He was a 1975 graduate for Clyde High School and had retired as a press operator at the Whirlpool Corp in 2018.

Mr. Hill was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde, where he served as an usher, and a helper in the kitchen and in housekeeping. Craig was also a member of the corn hole team and Dart ball team.Two activities that he really enjoyed!

Craig was an avid Clyde Flier sport fan, loved The Ohio State University Buckeyes and fishing. He was second only to his mother in catching fish!

Survivors of Craig, include his parents, Jeri and John Hill; brother, Gregory (Chris) Hill of Clyde and sister, Lisa (Dennis) Grone of Gatlinburg; Tennessee. Also, five nieces and nephews, Tiffany (Nathan) Melzer, Brittany (Timmy) Hohenstein, Jennifer Spitler; Corey (Fiancé' Amy Dicke) Grone and Lindy (Brett) Kilby survive, along with nine great and five great great nieces and nephews.

Craig was preceded in death by a nephew, Matthew Haas.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 6 2023 from 10:30 am until the service at Noon at The First United Methodist Church, Maple/Race Street Clyde with the Rev. Amy Ocher offficiating.

Memorials may be made to the church or to CHS Athletics.
