Chandler Carl Minnear

Chandler Carl Minnear, 24, of Port Clinton, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 16, 2023 in Sandusky.

He was born on October 1, 1998 in Orange Park, Florida to Robert and Paula (Franck) Minnear.

Chandler attended Port Clinton High School. He was recently employed at Lewco. In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors. You often found him fishing with friends or hunting geese and ducks. He always knew he wanted to apply his hand at a trade and went to school for welding. You could often times find him trying to fix something around the house or cobbling something together to bide his time. His greatest joy in life was sharing memories and moments with everyone he called a friend. Chandler was always looking to make connections with people, whether they were complete strangers or classmates from high school. He often would reach out to check in and see how you are doing. He strived to be a friendly presence in a trying world.

Chandler is survived by his mother, Paula F. (Ronald) Wallen, of Port Clinton; brother, Chase (Amanda Freeman) Minnear; girlfriend, Alyssa Black, of Sandusky; father, Robert Wesley Minnear; nieces/nephews, Aria Minnear and Aliya Minnear; beloved aunts/uncles, Marla Myers, Natalie Carey, Dale Simmon, Duwayne Minnear, and James Minnear; and other relatives.
