Curtis Ivan Hall

Curtis Ivan Hall, 93, residing in Huron, passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.

Curtis was born on September 24, 1930 in Newark, Ohio to the late Henry and Leona (Nold) Hall.

Curtis attended Ohio Northern University and received his degree in Education from The Ohio State University. He was a Veteran of the Air Navy who proudly served his country during the Korean War. He retired from Bellevue High School as the Industrial Arts teacher in 1987 and continued to educate at Bloom-Carroll High School and Ehove Joint Vocational. Curtis enjoyed woodworking, hunting, a nice bourbon, cooking, dogs, sharing his knowledge, was a gun enthusiast, and also loved spending time with his wonderful family and friends.

Curtis is survived by his daughters, Laurie (Kyle Munk) Allison of Sandusky, Holly (Kevin) Strecker of Bellevue, sons Curtis I. Hall II of Bellevue, Lon J. Hall of Huron, grandchildren, Derek, Logan, Seth, Gabe, Mitchell, Trisha, Dan, great-grandchildren, Hendrik, Cam, and Max, and one sister, Evelyn Oberfield of Newark and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, Curtis is preceded in death by his brothers Vernon Hall and Kenneth Hall, and the mother of his children, Gloria Morgart.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held and conducted at a later date.
