Peggy Sue Kuhlman, 64, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Sandusky, Ohio on October 23, 2023.
Peggy was born in Norwalk, Ohio on January 26, 1959 to Carol (Lottig) Skurda of Michigan and the late Ralph Kuhlman II. She was a proud graduate of Sandusky High School, class of 1977. Throughout her life, Peggy held various positions at Prepared Foods in Sandusky, Busch & Theim in Sandusky, Park Press in Port Clinton, and Jolly Donut in Sandusky. Her hard work and dedication were evident in all she did.
Peggy's love for nature was evident in her passion for gardening and tending to her house plants and flowers. She also enjoyed walking and was known for her spiritual strength and independence. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, Jaylen Guevara-Kirksey Bey, Rylee Simmons, and Zoee Simmons, all of Sandusky. They were the most important thing to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her mother and grandchildren, Peggy is survived by her daughter, Angela Guevara of Sandusky; her siblings, Ralph (Vernie) Kuhlman III of Sandusky, Debbie Kuhlman of Sandusky, Kim Bonilla of New York, Ben (Kim) Romes of Michigan, and Lisa (Aaron) Minor of Michigan; her aunts, Pat (Bruce) Kurtz of Norwalk and Dianna (Dale) Krocker of Florida; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was predeceased by her father, brother, Duane A Kuhlman, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Peggy's life was a testament to her spirit and passion. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister, aunt, and friend; who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of Memorial Services at 12:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky with Wally Gilbert presiding.
