James E. Burlovich

James E. Burlovich, age 64, of Loudonville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 24, 2012, while vacationing in Colorado.

He was born April 10, 1948 in Sandusky. He attended Trinity Community Church in Loudonville, and was a member of Monroeville UCC Church. He was a founding father and proud member of Bikers Memorial Fund of Sandusky. He was also a member of the Sandusky American Legion Post 83, Ashland VFW Post 1067, Moose International, Mad River H.O.G. Club, Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711, and UAW Local 913. He was a decorated combat veteran in the Vietnam War as well as a 5th degree Black Belt and Sensei at Sandusky, Ohio Ji Do Kwan. He was also a Charter Member of the Huron River H.O.G. Club and Moose Riders.

Jim is survived by his wife, Sharlene (Canfield) Burlovich, whom he married June 29, 1996; sons, Jamie (Stephanie) Burlovich of Huron and Jeffrey Burlovich of Sandusky; daughters, Bethany (John) Chime of Norwalk and Tarah Faren of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren, a niece and nephew; brother, Joseph Burlovich of Sandusky; sister, Ann (David) Rothel of Elyria; and father, Anthony "Tony" Burlovich of Sandusky.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ilene (Duden) Burlovich.

Cremation has taken place in Colorado. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Roeder Racing, 3684 US Route 20, Monroeville in George's Pavilion, followed by a motorcycle procession to the Bikers Memorial on Hayes Avenue in Sandusky. Refreshments will be served following the processional in the American Legion Hall's Midway/Normandy rooms at 3615 Hayes Avenue, Sandusky. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at Roeder Racing.
