Beatrice Marie (Weisenberger) Snyder, age 85, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, December 03, 2012 at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born December 25, 1926 in Norwalk to the late Henry J. Weisenberger and Frieda (Camp) Weisenberger. She was a 1945 graduate of St. Paul High School and was an active member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She worked at ACMI in Norwalk for over 17 years, retiring in 1995.
She is survived by her children, Nick (Deb) Snyder of Norwalk, George Snyder of Illinois, Andy (Lorraine) Snyder of Norwalk, Herb (Terry) Snyder of Norwalk, Jim (Teresa) Snyder of Sandusky, Beth (Mike LaRoche) Snyder of Indiana and John Snyder of Norwalk; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Eleanor Weisenberger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Snyder in 1999; and a daughter, Connie Hammersmith in 2007; sisters, Dorothy Scheel and Lavina Kocher; brothers, Cletus and George Weisenberger.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk. The Rev. Frank Kehres, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.
