Therese Delores (Manner) Rinner, 85, of Norwalk, Ohio, is with our heavenly Father, the Angels, the Saints, and the rest of her family.  She died Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in the Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky, Ohio.

Tess was born February 23, 1927 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Frederick and Amelia (Fitz) Manner of McCartney Road. She was a 1945 graduate of St. Mary High School, Sandusky, Ohio and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Rosary and Altar Society, Norwalk, Ohio. Tess was a former employee of Barr Rubber Company and retired from Norstat, Norwalk, Ohio. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, sitting on the front porch, picnic's, planting flowers, fishing, and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

Tess married Bernard Rinner, whom survives her, in a double ring ceremony with her sister, Colletta (Joseph) Bayer. They were married 64 years. She is also survived by her children, Michelle (Shelley) Rinner of Norwalk, Ohio, Cynthia (Rodney) Iehle of Maryland, Dale and Debbie Rinner of Texas, Mary Rinner (Chuck Ellis) of Berlin Heights, and Patrick and Susan Rinner of Bellevue, Ohio. Tess is also survived by her grandchildren, Heather Book, April Dunn and Melia Chappelear (Arthur Metcalf), all of Norwalk, Ohio, Jeremy (Emily) Rinner of Texas, Brittany (Daniel) Long of Italy, Tess and Tyler Chappelear of Berlin Heights, Ohio, Melissa Rinner of Florida, Jessica Iehle of Connecticut, and Tara Rinner of Bellevue, and by her great grandchildren, PFC Andrew Book, Taylor Book, Braylynn and Colby Metcalf, John, Audry and Kate Rinner of Texas, Mitch Chappelear of Berlin Heights, and Brenton and Brianna Pohto, of Florida. Tess is also survived by her sister, Rosemary Manner of Sandusky, Ohio, by her sisters in law, Rita, Connie, and Barb Manner, by her brother in law, Roger Wehner, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Sr. Mary Teresita, Edwin, Richard, Paul, Coletta, Geraldine, Dorothy, Marilyn, Margaret, Robert, and James Manner. The entire Bernard Rinner family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the nursing staff of Parkvue Healthcare Center in Sandusky, Ohio and to Stein Hospice Service of Sandusky, Ohio, for all the excellent care and kindness they showed to Therese and her family.

Friends may call on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Kenneth Mormon will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
