Marie S. Dahm, age 91, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Sandusky, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Marie was a child of God, a Christian in her faith and a: daughter, sister,
aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and for the last 7 years of
her life, the widow of Christopher J. Dahm, a WW II veteran.

She was born February 24, 1921 in Barbourville, K,Y a child of Clarence Richard Davis Sr. and his wife Patty (Blackburn)Davis. On August 9, 1941, she married Christopher J. Dahm in the Salem EUB Church in Sandusky. Two children were born of this union: Patty Ann(Mrs. J. Thomas Pascoe) and Connie Jean(Mrs. Frank Schmitz).

Marie was a lady of the home who was also employed by and retired from the Duval
County Tax Collector Office in Jacksonville.

She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking her southern fruit cakes & pecan pies, and
spending time with family & friends.

In addition to her daughters, she is survived by 3 grandchildren - Christine
Marie Hand(Mrs. Wendell) of Jacksonville, Chad Royal-Pascoe of New York, NY,
and William Christopher Sims(Jennifer) of Dallas, PA, 3 great
grandchildren - Kristin Marie Mallard(Mrs. Jared) and Brandon Hand all of
Jacksonville and Henry Christopher Sims of Dallas, PA; brother in law and sister in law Richard and Patricia Dahm of Castalia; nieces & nephews; great nieces & nephews; and great- great nieces & nephews.

On her birthday in 2013, Marie would have been 92 years young. God has bestowed
upon her many blessings, among those in the last year of her life were:
attendance at the wedding of her great granddaughter Kristin; a visit to
Sandusky with her daughter Patty and seeing Cedar Point all lit up with LED
lights. CP where "courting" happened in the 1940 's, dancing to the big bands
at the CP ballroom and a proposal of marriage on a CP roller coaster; a visit to
Dallas, PA, brought her great joy in holding her 3 year old great
grandchild, Henry Sims on her lap & reading to him many books and favorite
stories.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Christopher J. Dahm in
2006, her parents, her two brothers Clarence Richard Davis Jr. of Orange, Texas
and William Harrison Davis of Lebanon, Ohio.

No longer in pain, at peace with The Lord and united in heaven with her husband.

Friends may call from 12 Noon until time of service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, in the Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington Street, Castalia. The Rev. Paul Stengel will officiate Graveside services are contingent upon weather conditions. Burial will be in Perkins Township Cemetery.

church, your favorite charity, or local hospice facility in memory of Marie.
