Marion R. "Ray" "Jr." Wiseman Jr., 72, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Saturday, February 16, 2013 in his home.

He was born November 6, 1940 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Marion R. and Agnes A. (Trapp) Wiseman, Sr.. Ray was raised in Castalia and graduated from Margaretta High School in 1958. He moved to the Norwalk area in 1987 from Germany. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Ray had worked at Ford Motor Company in Sandusky, Ohio and had also worked in the Class VI store in Furth, Germany as the area manager. He enjoyed working on cars, drag racing at Fremont Drag Strip, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ray is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marianne K. (Kaussler) Wiseman of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Theresa and Andy Wargo of Norwalk, Ohio, Diane McKenna of Norwalk,, Ohio, Robert and Claudia Wiseman of Germany, and Michael and Misty Wiseman of Norwalk, Ohio, by his grandchildren, Mark and Ambrosia Loudy of Norwalk, Ohio, Michael and Jessica Loudy of Norwalk, Ohio, Danielle and Bryant Foster of Norwalk, Ohio, Jimmy and Christina McKenna of Norwalk, Ohio, Sean and Brittany McKenna of Greenwich, Ohio,Samantha McKenna of Norwalk, Ohio, Sarah Wiseman of Germany, Christopher Wiseman of Germany, Brandon Wiseman of Norwalk, Ohio, Ashley Wiseman and Mike Hamilton of Norwalk, Ohio, Cameron Wiseman of Norwalk, Ohio and Kaitlyn Arnold Wiseman of Norwalk, Ohio, by 11 great grandchildren, by his brothers and sisters in law, Jerry and Kathy Wiseman of Kentucky, and Tim and Renate Wiseman of Texas, and by his sisters and brothers in law, Lucille and Don Smith of Milan, Ohio, Mary Leber and Lynda Souslin of Milan, Ohio, Carol and Clyde Mullins of Kentucky and Sue and Richard Rew of Milan, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Clarence Wiseman and by his sister, Ellen K. Souslin. There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be private. Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, is in charge of arrangements. David Detwiller, Chaplain of Stein Hospice Service will officiate.
